Free Photoshop Plugins & A Screensaver

In my daily commute on the information superhighway - wow, does anyone still use that term? - I found this selection of great Photoshop plugins.

Some are free, and some are just trial versions. *shakes fist at demos*

Plugins and filters extend Photoshop by providing new funtionality and effects that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to achieve or by simplifying a process. There are lots of plugins that you can buy but in the TutorialBlog way we are going to be taking a look at the best of the free plugins …

And on a side note, I usually don’t use screensavers, simply because I tend to run processes - video encoding, etc. - while I’m not on the machine and screensavers tend to slow them down.

However, I am a big fan of the Google Photos Screensaver as it’s the best photo screensaver around. Well, perhaps second only to the photo screensavers on Vista and OS X.

The drawback of Google’s, though, is that you can only download it from the official Google Pack and it has a constant Google logo displayed while the screensaver is on. And that’s obnoxious.

To solve that, I’ve uploaded the non-Google Pack and non-logo version of the screensaver for you to download.

Here’s the link to gbsaver.

Enjoy!
