Windows Evolved

Found this blog today that has a photo-guide to all the various versions of Microsoft Windows over the years.
I can remember as far back as using Windows 3.1, and before that DOS, but have only recently used 1.0 and 2.0 (for curiosity’s sake).
I have to say, though, that as much as I love Windows, there must be some design that is better than that standard GUI - which goes for Apple, too.
