System 5: The Best Unofficial XP Theme

I’ve been using XP ever since its release, and I’ve pretty much stuck with the same ol’ Luna visual style for it - although recently Royale has taken my fancy.
Why?
Simple, none of the user-created ones were that great.
Don’t get me wrong, some of them were beautiful - like the countless Aqua based themes, and some were functional - like many stripped down 95/98-ish themes, but none of them really had the combination.
I needed something that looked relatively good, but also did not obstruct the actual daily use of my computer.
Finally I found a non-Microsoft theme that does that: System 5.
Here’s what the creator, ~andymorum, has to say about it.
Almost every image in the theme has been tweaked since v4, particularly the widgets. Hopefully everything looks that little bit better now…
Includes shellstyle, thin taskbar, wallpaper, 3 extra start buttons and probably much more that I can’t remember ;)
Available at this link at deviantART, System 5 has been downloaded nearly 50,000 times.
You’ll need to patch your uxtheme.dll file in XP to be able to use the theme, but you can download this auto-patcher here. *Note* - I take no responsibility for any use or misuse of that program, as I did not create it.
So get on over there, check it out, and enjoy!
