You Must See The Dark Knight

I, naturally, saw the midnight showing of the new Batman last night and it blew me away. It was an absolutely amazing film; but there were several “shock” moments of, “Did that just happen?!?”. And also, word of warning, it is one of the darkest films I’ve ever seen; it is definitely not something you’d want to see with small children.

Critics are also talking “Best Picture” for this film - unheard of for a comic-book movie - and “Best Actor” for Heath Ledger, which he completely deserves. He was simply incredible as The Joker. Nobody has captured the absolute psychopath image of The Joker like Heath did.

I highly recommend you all see this film if you’re at all remotely interested. Don’t question; just go.

There hasn’t been a movie I’ve seen multiple times in theaters since Pirates of the Caribbean, but I fully expected this one to be so when I bought my tickets a week ago I made sure to get multiple showtimes.

I’m seeing it again this afternoon.
