MameWAH Layouts
ClassiCade
I couldn’t find a decent layout for MameWAH that I liked, so I created my own: ClassiCade.
I incorporated some basic font elements from the Yellow Borders layout created by Stuzza, so credit goes to him for the excellent work he did on that layout.
The background is a photo of Peter Hirschberg’s Luna City Arcade.
The layout is designed with the marquee, flyer, and title images in mind, so make sure you have those in your MameWAH directory. You can download them here.
Place the classicade folder in the mame folder within the config folder of your MameWAH directory. This is my path:
MAMECade
ClassiCade is nice for using MAMEWAH on a home computer, but in order to have a better look for use in an arcade cabinet I created the layout MAMECade.
The layout is enlarged, and stripped down to include the game name, marquee art, and title screen art. I didn’t use space for other information, since it’s intent is to be used as a menu for a functioning arcade cabinet.
